The Role of a VersaLearn Speech-Language Therapist:

VersaLearn provides a family-centred approach to helping children from 2-12 years of age develop their speech language and communication skills. We collaborate with families to set and review goals and be active participants in their child’s therapy journey.

Our clinicians conduct individual therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches that are effective and fun. We team up with other speech pathologists to run interest based social connection groups that teach functional communication skills in activities that children love – our Lego Club is a popular group!

VersaLearn therapists provide assessment and therapy services in schools. This gives us a great opportunity to share information and suggestions with educators to create communication friendly classrooms.

We engage in weekly professional learning to continually update and increase our skills so that we can offer the very best service to the children and families we work with.

We value our relationships with our team members and have regular social catch-ups throughout the year.

VersaLearn therapists are committed to best practice, know how to make therapy fun and engaging for children and love the work they do!
